What Qualifications can I expect to get?
The qualifications you are working towards on the course are:
- CSIA - Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance (Level 1 with Level 2 Optional)
- CASI - Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (Level 1 with Level 2 Optional)
- AST - Avalanche Safety Training (Level 1 with Level 2 optional)
Where is the accommodation Located?
The luxury accommodation in Canada is located less then 30 seconds from the slopes - It-s not ski out accommodation but it sure is ski in. Everywhere in resort is within walking distance. If you want to venture out to the near town of Rossland there are shuttles that run to and from the resort.
In New Zealand our accommodation is based in Wanaka, Lakeside we might add. This is a beautiful location and you are only a hop a skip and a jump away from everything you could possibly need. Wanaka is located no more than 20 minutes from Cardrona Alpine Resort. We provide you with everything you need to get to the hill, bus transfers.
What is the age limit?
The minimum age for the course is 16 years old. We set no boundaries for an age limit. If you think your up to the challenge then welcome aboard!
What equipment do I need to bring?
You need to bring:
- Hardware - Ski's Snowboard, bindings etc
- Soft goods - Hats, gloves, thermals etc

What's included in the cost of your instructor course?

Do I need much experience to do an instructor course?
We require all candidates to have a minimum of 2 weeks on snow or dryslope experience. You will need to be able to link turns, control your speed and most importantly stop.
Can I arrange my own travel?
Yes. If you chose to opt out of the group flight we will reduce your course fee accordingly, this will be shown in your invoice. If you would like to arrange your own travel please get in touch with a member of the team.
How do I secure a place on the course?
Head over to our online booking page and complete the form accurately and pay a £450 deposit. This will secure your place onto your chosen course.
When do I pay my remaining balance?
The remaining balance is split into 2 or 3 equal payments; this will be discussed with your selves at the time of booking. This has to be paid up 12 weeks before the departure date. If you book within the 4 weeks a full payments has to be taken at the time of booking.
